 It's a great Business Tool.
You've probably heard a lot about blogging in the last few months. You may have even heard that blogging should be an essential part of your marketing plan for your small business.
I agree you should be blogging, but I'm not totally convinced that it will drive huge marketing benefits to everyone. They have a lot of marketing and customer relations benefits, but even if they didn't, I'm completely convinced you should be blogging for your business for an entirely different reason.

Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a great online game that requires a lot of the same skills and ideas for success that you need as a small business owner.
In fact, there are at least 4 critical lessons that every business owner could learn from playing Team Fortress 2 - and that doesn't even include the stress relief you get along the way.

 ACA - American Club Association
The American Club Association (ACA) is a unique networking organization that was started in Kansas City a few years ago and is now in the process of expanding nationwide.
There are several 'layers' of ACA that you can participate in, including a Business Development Team, various special interest 'clubs' like Marketing, Wine and Cheese, Entreprenuers, etc. You can also participate in ACA wide events.
What I really like is the diversity of opportunities, the strong membership (over 500 business owners in Kansas City!) and the great supportive attitude that everyone has. Check out the website or contact me if you have any questions. It's well worth your time.

 Juno
Although it didn't win for best picture, Juno was definitely one of the most satisfying movies I've seen in a long time.
A funny (albeit dark) movie that doesn't try too hard it really resonated as a set of character studies of interesting kids and adults in difficult situations.
Ellen Page was incredible and in a cast of more famous co-stars, she really made the movie. Great show - give it a shot.
